Who Are We?

SIFC is a new inclusive football club setup in 2026, with sessions starting on September 5th.

We are a volunteer‑run, registered non‑profit football club, delivering FA‑qualified football sessions in a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment. We are proud to be a specialist Pan‑Disability and Inclusion football club in Essex, dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and/or specific participation needs.

We welcome participants of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and abilities. Our members benefit from FA accredited coaching sessions delivered by a committed team of fully qualified volunteer coaches—many of whom are former players with lived experience of special needs.

SIFC is more than just a football club—it is a family.

Our relaxed and supportive approach encourages social interaction, boosts wellbeing, and promotes positive mental health. This ethos is shared by all our members and their families, who benefit from the welcoming and inclusive environment we continue to nurture.

It’s more than just football, it’s a community full of support! Players build on so many skills in addition to their football abilities; new friendships made, situational mute able to verbalise communications, social skills strengthened, moving forward together, stronger.

We are Southend Invictus.

We are a disability football club offering weekly sessions for people with disabilities of all ages and footballing abilities the opportunity to meet like minded people, stay active and enhance social skills through football.

We are a community run club and encourage as much involvement and volunteering as possible with a variety of playing, coaching, general club and committee roles available to help enhance life skills.

We have 3 teams:

  • Under 12's: for ages 7 to 12 (school years 2 to 7)
  • Under 16 's: for ages 12 to 16 (school years 8 to 11)
  • Adults: for ages 16 plus (school years 12 and above)
